What are you looking for in a beagle?
May seem like a silly question, but really, think about it. You looking for a dog that can jump a rabbit? You know hunt him down and put him on his feet! Maybe you are the guy that likes to field trial a dog that is primarily ran in an enclosure where rabbits are plentiful and you are concerned mainly with a dog that can lock onto a track and run it true with good medium-medium plus speed with control. What about good check work? I have heard guys say that they needed a check dog in their pack to complete it. Is that what you are looking for? How about show dog conformation. You know, one that has all the chrome and polish on a good foundation. A dog that has that wow effect when you see him. And how about a dog with brains? One that has good old common sense. One that you don’t have to beat on or shock to get it to act right. And wouldn’t it be nice if they were naturally trash free?
What if I told you that you can have all of those qualities in one hound? Hunt, nose power and flow that can move a rabbit with controlled power, one that has great hound looks and conformation that has a natural desire to run the game that you train it on without having to constantly correct it to keep it focused and on track.
Well you can. Don’t settle for less. We don’t!

Pups available from the following crosses
Heads up guys. We are in a rebuilding phase here at the kennel. Due to the devastating loss of Pete we were unable to make a few crosses that we hand planned. We are, however, working some outstanding derbies both male and female at this time. Among those is one of the hardest hunting males we have ever bred. Following this season we hope to have an early test litter out of him on the ground. Please check back with us in the near future because we have a few things up our sleeve right now and the cream always rises back to the top!
